Hello All,

A close friend is volunteering at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Silicon Valley Affiliate and Harry has asked me to help by spreading the word about our November 2nd, 5K walk or run course at Discovery Meadow in Downtown San Jose.

He continued to say in an email to me that:

 

Pancreatic cancer is the most under-funded, under-recognized and least-studied of all major cancer killers with only two percent of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget dedicated to pancreatic cancer research.

Your individual or team participation and donations will help to change these dismal statistics by funding research grants, advocacy efforts, patient support, and awareness activities coordinated by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Please help spread the word to come and enjoy music, food, kids’ activities, our ShopPurple store and awards, all while raising awareness of pancreatic cancer.
